After the Kansas City Chiefs’ 32-29 victory of the New Orleans Saints, we have a new #1, but just barely. The Los Angeles Rams drop just a spot after falling to the New York Jets, and the Cincinnati Bengals don’t get any love for defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers, remaining the worst team in the NFL:

Offense Power Rankings

The Buffalo Bills jump into the top 10 at #9 after dismantling the Denver Broncos 48-19. Our model gives the Bills offense a lot of credit for putting up 41 points against a top 10 defense:



Defense Power Rankings

Despite losing to the Dallas Cowboys 41-33, we have the San Francisco 49ers defensive unit ranked as the #1 defense in the NFL. While this may seem bizarre for a 5-9 team that just allowed 41 points to the Cowboys, the Cowboys only had 291 net yards on offense, and scored 24 of their points off of either turnovers or special teams.
