NFL Week 15 Power Rankings

With the New Orleans Saints hosting the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football, we have an exciting matchup between Cleat Street’s EPA Model’s #1 and #2 teams. While the Chiefs have been favored by 3 points all week long, with the announcement of Drew Brees’ return, lines have been temporarily taken down as of this publication. On a neutral field, we expect the Saints to win by roughly 2 points. 

Offense Power Rankings

Our model gives the Cleveland Browns offense a ton of credit for putting up 42 points against a great Baltimore Ravens defense, and the Browns subsequently jump from #13 to #6 in our Offense EPA ranking:

Defense Power Rankings

Defense rankings largely stayed the same. The Philadelphia Eagles make the biggest leap to #12 thanks to holding the New Orleans Saints offense to 21 points, albeit one without Drew Brees:
